operation black mamba.

I think and see and hear all of these things…then wonder what happens. That I may never recall them; and it puts me at a terrible unrest….searching for everything that I may have forgotten…… and in doing so finding more and more and more until the list becomes unbearable.

“Almost Here was about us starting out, Santi is trying to find ourselves in the world, and Fast Times we found ourselves. I found myself.”

I read this quote earlier today and it got me thinking about some stuff.
It makes me feel so guilty for not liking Fast Times at Barrington High mores than I do. The album is GOOD, but not brilliant like we know they’re capable of.
I’m happy for them that they’ve found themselves, I’m just not real happy about what they found.
I don’t get how reminiscing on highschool is “finding yourself”.
It almost seems like Fast Times at Barrington High should have been the first album, Santi the second, and Almost Here the third.
It’s not that I don’t like TAI, because I absolutely love them, but I just know that they can do so much better than this.
Anyone else feel the same way about this as I do?
